It follows the adventures of the crew of the pre-Federation Enterprise, the first human-built vessel to achieve Warp 5. Enterprise was a prequel to the other Star Trek series and movies.
In 2015, "Carbon Creek" was included in Geek.com's 35 greatest moments in Star Trek. In 2016, "Carbon Creek" was ranked one the top ten episodes Enterprise, and it was noted as an example of the apparent Star Trek tradition where actors play their character's ancestor. “Carbon Creek” (#2) is an absolutely outstanding story about Vulcans stranded in 1950s America and is probably the single best Enterprise episode. First contact with the Romulans is depicted in “Minefield” (#3), and the single most divisive episode in Star Trek history is certainly “A Night in Sickbay” (#5). During the time of TNG, DS9 and Voyager, some of these series ran in parallel.
